The Right Fit Capital
Matchmaking Difference
Right Fit Capital operates differently than traditional brokers or mass-market listing platforms.
We don't blast your practice information across public databases or expose your confidential exit plans.
Instead, we facilitate strategic, one-on-one introductions between sellers and a curated network of serious buyers - ensuring both parties enter conversations with aligned objectives, realistic expectations, and mutual respect.
3-phase matchmaking journey

First Phase
Understanding Your Goals
We begin with a no-obligation, confidential conversation to understand:
-
Your practice's operational structure and financial performance
-
Your ideal timeline and transition preferences
-
Key priorities
-
Deal-breakers and non-negotiables
This assessment is completely free, with zero pressure or commitment. It's your choice to proceed.

Second Phase
Identifying Your Best Partner
Based on your specific practice profile, we evaluate our network of pre-vetted buyers, including:
-
National corporate consolidators seeking strategic growth
-
Regional private equity building geographic density
-
Independent doctors looking for independence or groups planning expansion
We identify a top group whose acquisition criteria, culture, and financial capacity align with your practice.

Third Phase
Facilitating Your Introduction
Once we've identified a strong potential match and are ready to move forward:
-
We confirm you're alignment with the next steps
-
We facilitate the initial discussion, then step back to let you engage directly
-
You maintain full control—no obligation to proceed if it's not the right fit
Buyers get direct access to the decision-maker. Sellers avoid wasting time with unqualified or misaligned prospects.

What Makes a Strong Match?
Not every buyer-seller pairing makes sense. We look for strategic alignment across multiple dimensions:
✓ Financial Alignment
Buyer's acquisition budget matches seller's valuation expectations
✓ Timeline Compatibility
Seller's exit timeline aligns with buyer's transaction capacity
✓ Geographic Fit:
Buyer is actively acquiring in the seller's market and geography
✓ Operational Continuity
Maintaining staff, clinical standards, and practice operations post-close
✓ Cultural Match
Shared values around patient care, staff treatment, and philosophy
✓ Deal Structure Flexibility
Both parties are open to creative terms
How Does Matchmaking Work?
How does Right Fit Capital actually identify the right buyer for my practice?
We evaluate each practice individually and match against our active buyer network based on a set of specific criteria — not just practice size or revenue, but geography, buyer culture, acquisition pace, transition expectations, and staff retention track record. A consolidator looking for high-volume throughput is a very different match than a private equity platform focused on clinical autonomy. We've built these relationships over years, which means we understand what each buyer is actually looking for — not just what they say on their website. Read about how different buyer types compare.
What happens between the initial introduction and an LOI?
After the introduction, the buyer and seller engage directly — typically starting with a 30–60 minute introductory call to assess fit. If both parties want to proceed, the buyer usually requests a basic financial package (2–3 years of P&Ls and a practice overview). From there, a Letter of Intent is drafted, which outlines the purchase price, deal structure, and transition terms. Right Fit Capital remains available throughout this phase to answer questions and help keep conversations aligned. See the full M&A process explained.
Do you introduce sellers to multiple buyers at once?
We prioritize quality over volume. In most cases, we start with a single, well-matched introduction rather than a simultaneous blast to multiple parties. Broadcasting your practice to many buyers at once undermines confidentiality and can create the impression of desperation — neither of which serves your interests. If the first introduction doesn't produce a viable offer, we expand deliberately. Learn the most common mistakes sellers make in this process.
How does Right Fit Capital stay involved after the introduction is made?
Once introduced, we step back from the negotiation itself — you engage directly with the buyer's decision-makers. However, we remain available as a resource: to interpret buyer behavior, provide a temperature check on deal momentum, facilitate communication if things stall, and connect you with legal or advisory resources if needed. We don't disappear after the handshake. See everything included in our seller service.
What if the buyer type we're matched with isn't what I envisioned?
Your preferences guide the match. Before we make any introduction, we spend time understanding your priorities — whether that's maximizing price, preserving practice culture, retaining staff, or ensuring a clean exit. If a corporate consolidator isn't aligned with your values, we focus on independent buyers or regional groups instead. The match is always driven by what's right for you, not what's easiest for us.
